Your room will be ready for you from 3.00 pm; check-in is available until 9.00 pm. On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 11.00 am – this gives us enough time to prepare it with care for the next guests.

You can travel to Langeoog by ferry. The ferry departs from Bensersiel and takes you to us in about an hour, several times a day. Your car stays on the mainland: you’ll find the island car parks right by the harbour in Bensersiel – open all year round, with day and long-stay spaces, including spaces for motorhomes.

Yes, at the Hotel Kolb Lifestyle. The island itself is also dog-friendly: there are designated dog beaches where your four-legged friend can run about to their heart’s content, and numerous paths through the dunes and along the dyke for long walks. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the island, including on the beach.
Getting there is also hassle-free: the ferry and the island railway both allow dogs on board.
At the Kolb Classic, you can stay in a double room measuring 22 square metres or in a suite measuring 30 square metres, each accommodating up to two people (Comfort Suite: up to three). The Kolb Lifestyle Junior Suites offer 33 square metres for two people, with a balcony, terrace or bay window. And in our Kolb Island Chalets, you’ll have 100 square metres of space for up to six people – ideal for families or groups of friends who like to have a bit more space to themselves.
The first rays of sunshine, the sound of seagulls squawking in the distance or right nearby – that’s how our mornings begin. At our breakfast buffet, you’ll find fresh juices, muesli, yoghurts and delicious little treats to ensure a relaxed start to the day.
Yes, two in fact. Wednesdays and Sundays are special at our restaurant: at our gourmet evenings, you can look forward to a changing selection of dishes, from fondue evenings to fresh fish and a Mediterranean buffet. If you’re in the mood for something romantic, treat yourself to a glass of champagne as an aperitif and our romantic set menu.
And every Friday from 9.00 pm, it’s happy hour at Lounge Bar No. 9: a selection of cocktails, from creamy to tangy, from fruity to dry.
It all depends on the holiday vibe. For a romantic, peaceful break for two, the Kolb Classic, with its elegant, cosy hotel rooms, is the perfect place. Those looking primarily to relax, with the sauna and pool just a short walk away, will find a design-focused junior suite with a fireplace, balcony or terrace at the Kolb Lifestyle. And for the whole family or a group of friends, the island chalets – offering up to 100 square metres and space for six people – provide all the space you need, including the choice between hotel service with breakfast or self-catering.
Whichever property you choose, the reception, breakfast area, Schiffchen restaurant, Lounge Bar No. 9 and the ‘Die Oase’ spa area are open to all guests.
